Why choose the Inca Trail 4-days trek?

  • Permits & ID: If you are booking under the student rate, a valid student ID is compulsory.
  • Money (Peruvian soles): For purchasing food or beverages at the end point.
Performance Clothing & Footwear

  • Poles (with rubber tips): Highly recommended for the difficult parts of the trek. Rubber tips are necessary to avoid damage to the ancient Inca stone road according to the law.
  • Power Bank: With high humidity conditions and hundreds of pictures being taken, phone battery is going to go out in no time.
Smartly Layered (Weather Conditions)
  • Tech Long Sleeve Shirt: It will keep you safe from both the extreme sun of the Andes and the aggressive "no-see-um" mosquitoes.
  • Extra T-shirt: During the climb to Wi?ay Wayna, you will be sweating a lot. Changing your shirt will greatly help you in taking pictures once you enter Machu Picchu.
  • Fleece: Useful for the morning train ride as well as for the wind at the Sun Gate.
  • Rain jacket/Poncho: In case it suddenly starts raining when hiking during the dry season.
  • Sun Protection: Wide-brimmed hat and UV filtering sunglasses are necessary for the open parts of the trail.
